The Christchurch Club

Kirkcaldie was engaged by The Christchurch Club to revitalise the bar area to improve functionality and re-purpose the under-utilised adjoining room into a bistro restaurant.
The design included a new curved bar in dark timber with brass accents, and a large imposing island leaner was resized and re-clad to create a more sociable and functional space.
Next door, the Orangery was transformed into an inviting eatery. The brief was to evoke an Eastern tropical club feel achieved by selecting a fresh, light colour palette, rattan furnishings and botanical prints, and the addition of indoor plants and floor rugs.
